All in all, it was welcome base for travelling to Windermere. Besides, it has free Wi Fi throughout the property.

The breakfast was gorgeous, really enjoyed free parking. Just a walk down to the burnside hotel, where you can have lunch. Comforts of king room were fabulous - heating, television and ironing facilities. Nothing beats being in Fair Rigg.
The street, it was too noisy.

Peaceful location, welcoming people in the hotel. Host was friendly! Heating, satellite television and a radio were much appreciated during our weekend. Windermere is adjacent to the venue. Plus, we were 25 mins by foot from the world beatrix potter attraction.
